About
Chill’s mission is to inspire young people through boardsports and build a more equitable outdoor community. Founded by Jake and Donna Carpenter of Burton Snowboards, we’ve reached more than 35,000 participants across 20 locations in 9 countries since 1995.
Our programs blend the joy of snowboarding, skateboarding, wakeboarding, surfing, and paddleboarding with a core values curriculum that sparks personal growth, builds community, and creates real connection to the outdoors. We cover all costs and partner closely with schools, social service agencies, and boardsport partners. The only thing participants have to think about is showing up and having fun.
